Lola and Hattie!
I have always been against shaving them but this simple act has changed their lives! With 100 degree Texas heat and more hair than I ever thought possible on dogs (especially Hattie) the summers can be hard on them. Plus- their summer shedding was taking forever and making it hard on everyone else. They are so happy with their new hair dos! And it is so nice to pet and snuggle them now without all the hair falling off. We will do this every summer. (Note: it is important to leave enough hair on them to avoid sunburn- we made sure our groomer did this)

As it turns out- Hattie really isn't as overweight as we thought. It was just all that hair. Who knew?!?
Who is that dog & what did you do with Hattie?! There's no way that's the same dog.
